I am a self-taught improviser focusing on drum set and various North African & Middle Eastern hand percussion. I play in the trio "Air Above Mountains" with my partner Destanne Lundquist (moog synth, flute and various noise making implements) and Scott Bertram (guitar, effects).
I am also very inspired by Korean shamanic music, as well as the many schools of modern and traditional improvisation.
