Jennifer's True Life Lesson:
When Michael Coones, my producer and songwriter heard that I had survived cancer, he was inspired to write this song for me. Most feel fear and defeat when they hear the words “You have Cancer”.
However, when I heard those words, it drove me to finish all I needed to do while on earth and to forgive and resolve old traumas. I let doughts and the sorrows of daily life and turned victimhood mentality to living every day with purpose,
Living in the moment, greeting great memories and planting good seeds of love within my children and grandchildren. To break the cycle of generational trauma of fear toward love was my mission.
Having cancer brought family unity, forgiveness, a new level of love and respect for the body I must experience another day with you. We all think tomorrow will always come, and that we will have time later to do the things you desire, or to become the person you wish later in life. However, tomorrow is never promised for anyone.
This song shows no matter what, you can live your life enjoying life with an attribute of gratitude for all. Every challenge is simply an opportunity for personal growth. What are you creating today that will be spread throughout the world long after you are gone?
