The heart of Blackwood resides within the deep musical simpatico between organist Peter-Anthony Togni and bass clarinetist Jeff Reilly. Inspired by plainchant, free improvisation and holy minimalism (think Arvo Part meeting Bram Stoker) their unique and lyrical approach to music straddles the boundaries between jazz and classical.
They are honoured and delighted in this project to be joined by the cellist, composer and improviser India Gailey, a rising national star.
