As this is how I feel creatively after releasing so much music this year, and doing this one in a context where I have a lot of conversations daily about racism, discrimination in the music industry etc, as a person of color, it was heavier than usual.

Jaymie Silk doesn’t stick to one lane—his music blends Afro-European roots, rap production, and Montreal’s ballroom energy into bold, unpredictable club tracks. From fierce edits to politically charged bangers, his sound is raw and compelling. With releases on !K7, Nervous & more, and sets at He.She.They & Piknic Électronik, he’s a true groove-shifting force.
