I'm not going to say much about this one, I promise. It is not necessarily a homage to GNU Emacs (although it is my favorite text editor and perhaps also computer program of all time), and I definitely don't want you to come away feeling obligated to donate to the Free Software Foundation (you really shouldn't). Rather, this is a statement on function: I want to show you something that does everything, even if through idiosyncratic methods that may not make sense to my audience, ever. I do things my own way; nothing will change that, ever. Despite this self-confidence, however, I still fear misunderstanding and misinterpretation, a fear which has only intensified over time towards the vast majority of people as I continue to communicate idiosyncratically and make arguments in ways that check out in my head but not with other people, but that makes me myself. I won't back down until people previously deeply invested in independent electronic music stop making shitty trite rock albums that claim to say everything but really just deepen the misunderstandings which led them to create music about isolation in the first place (I can think of a few too many examples of this; also, you can swap "rock" for "future garage" if you're into bass). Just give yourself the space you need to make what the fuck you want and give no fucks. That's what counts.
