FREAK! by Jake Simpson
This album is dedicated to everyone who has ever felt "less-than", bullied, disregarded, blown-off, or ignored. Its a record of my own experiences as each of these things. Art and music represents the best of us and since I cannot play sports very well, nor do "the math" hardly at all, this is my way of being the best that I can be. Hopefully, you can hear my hard work and feel validated by this music! I only do this because of you, anyway.

I'd like to thank Rob Russell for his incredible lyrical skills on "Let Me In" and "Goodbye, Goodbye", which we first started brainstorming in my little apartment in the Fairfax District of Los Angeles in 2012! I would like to also thank an old friend, Eva Crawford, who's early lyrical ideas from 2003 helped form the basis of "Cages". I would also like to thank "International Superstar" Mr. Todd Daily, for his great ideas while I was totally writer's-blocked on "Narcissus"! Finally, I'd like to thank any and all of you who are listening to this music and hopefully buying tickets to my live shows! I need to pay the electric bill!
