Hydrophonic from Misha by IWKC

While Artem was drinking, we explored the space and added different participants to our jams. So all our friends started playing with us: GRUZIN, aka Sasha Rtishchev, started DJing, everyone played the brass instruments with us, and in the front rows were Alexander Novikov, a baritone, and Ilya Rozenblat, a tenor; friends from the Rudolf group yelled, rapped, and recorded wicked voice samples, one of which became the basis for Hydrophonic. We had fun not only with the musicians, but also with the equipment; we had Inna Pivars's junk lying around the studio and sampled Soviet organ Yunost and Bulgarian bass Orpheus – these loops shred your brain for most of the track. Novikov and Rozenblat as always took a serious approach: they made a fucking awesome two-part solo in the spirit of Coltrane's works, while everyone else was joking and fooling around – the bass was replaced with a farting tuba (Leonid Semirukhin from Mosbrass) and in the end we had a jam on unwashed dishes during Maslenitsa pancake-eating, idiotic beatboxing and a guitar through the mouth of GRUZIN.

Пока Тёма бухал, мы исследовали пространство и добавляли в наши джемы разных участников. Так все наши друзья стали играть с нами: ГРУЗИН, он же Александр Ртищев начал диджеить, на духовых с нами играли все подряд, а в первых рядах Саня Новиков — баритон и Илюха Розенблат – тенор; друзья из группы Рудольф орали, читали рэп и записывали умственно отсталые голосовые сэмплы, один из которых стал основой Hydrophonic. Мы развлекались не только с музыкантами, но и оборудованием, на студии у нас валялось барахло Инны Пиварс и мы засемплировали советский орган Юность и болгарскую басуху Орфей – эти лупы пилят мозг на протяжении большей части композиции. Серьёзно, как всегда, к делу подошли Новиков и Розенблат – они сделали охрененный двухголосный соляк в духе колтрейновских работ, а все остальные прикалывались и дурачились – бас заменили на пердящую тубу (Лёня из Мосбрасс), в конце у нас джем на немытой посуде во время масленичного блиножора, дебильный битбокс и гитара сквозь рот ГРУЗИНА.
