Stargazer from Girl (EP) by ISLAND

'Stargazer' is the first track to be taken from ISLAND's debut EP, Girl, released later this year via Beatnik Creative.

Gripping from the opening chords, a mesmerising guitar delay, and gravelly, searing vocals, the unfixed instrumentation of ‘Stargazer’ is full of youthful abandon, purpose and promise.

With an ethereal intensity similar to Department of Eagles ‘In Ear Park’, or the resonant ‘likely to get stuck in your head’ quality of Arcade Fire’s ‘The Suburbs’, ISLAND’s debut of real thoughts, experiences, and wonder, is reflected in production values that communicate such ideals.

Mellow, not melancholy, their deep rhythms roll with light and shade that’s uplifting and makes you want to move, but no sooner will have you stood still and beguiled in their scenic musicality.
