THOSE WHO BRING THE TORTURE started out as a grind/death metal band but have steadily evolved into more epic death metal territory. This new effort weighs in on the same scene as bands like Hypocrisy stylewise, mixing heaviness with epic parts, and not forgetting the aggressive pure
death metal madness and thrashing parts either.
"PAIN OFFERINGS" will bring you pure death metal, if you like the style you will defently find something that you love here, be it epic heavy or thrashingly fast.
While the mere mention of ‘Swedish death metal’ may instantly usher in thoughts of Entombed/Grave copycats, Those Who Bring The Torture maintain a more timeless feel. If any band works as a comparison, the way that they dive into more melodic (without being too melodic) territory feels quite akin towards that of Hypocrisy
