Once upon a time in the ages of the dawn
a newborn mankind have created something strong,
so powerful, so infectious,
driven by the fear they’ve created gods.

But only a very few full moons passed and they’ve turned it against each other
Hiding behind golden statues, behind the totem of power
In faith in salvation, in eternal life, they sacrifice themselves in holy fight
The puppets of glory led by the story about a creature of limitless might

From the caves to golden cathedrals
Spread the hate dressed in the light, lies shining bright
Blinded herd fights for ideals
Telling tales stolen from the past, dug out from the dust

Too many gods, too many legends,
too much chaos to rule them all
Call out all the poor, bring them unite
by vision of afterlife in the kingdom of the light
