Garden from Adaptation by UTOPIA CLOAK
Utopia Cloak is a Bristol (UK) based producer of neat, tidy and well behaved bedroom electronica. His sound is most influenced by synthpop melodies, early 2000's electronica, and imagined far away landscapes.
He has self released two E.Ps and recently released a six track mini album on FILM recordings.
On Adaptation, his first cassette release, Utopia Cloak takes you on a slow paced and detailed audio journey, exploring ancient ruins, lush forests, soaring mountains and other vivid soundscapes. The release is peppered with field recordings and found sound, blended carefully with heavily processed percussion and spacious synths to create a deep sense of atmosphere throughout.
Utopia Cloak invites you to drift across the release's peaks and troughs and investigate every sound as closely as he has, to get lost in its lo-fi charm and escape for a while.
