One of the many collaborations I did with Japanese noisemakers. This was done with the raw material provided by Autotoxic Mental Bizarrerie. It was all done on cassettes (before we could afford DAT) and it was all going through the mail. We added artworks, collages and worked on the envelopes, like mailart.
Recorded in 1994.
Hyware / Technoise is the noise project of Radboud Mens who started creating noise-machines in 1988. In the early 90’s he attached contact-microphones to dog’s brushes that he used to destroy vinyl records by scratch-playing them, boosting the signal through broken cassette-decks and recording the results. Those got released in Japan and the UK in1995/96.
