Formed in Grimsby in late 1995, Hovercraft brought "cataclysmic rock 'n' roll of the most intense order." The quartet - Piers "Charlie Pepper" Wildman (vocals/guitar), Golly God (guitar), Ron Nasty (bass), and Mr Shimble (drums) - drew comparisons to Paul Weller, Oasis, and The Only Ones.
After disbanding in June 1996, Hovercraft has been resurrected through AI reconstruction.
