Ambwa from Asar by Muslim Shaggan
A song about making love under a mango tree. This song was originally sung by the Pakistani singer Iqbal Bano for the film Nagin (1959). The composer is Safdar Hussain, who was also from a Rubabi musical lineage, just like Muslim.
According to Muslim's father, Mazhar Shaggan, when Safdar was composing the tune, he consulted Ustad Ghulam Hassan Shaggan about it and was so inspired by his input, that he decided to become his disciple.
