“Lahore” is a moody drive down Hinna’s street, deep into her personal cul-de-sac. The song begins with a recording from a newscast on Pakistani television in the 80s, the words are an unremembered nostalgia for Hinna, whose only connection to her blood is through lineage - never living in a land or culture that’s often projected onto her because of her complexion.
