Hey Calamity is the solo project of Dave Thomas, a songwriter and multi‑instrumentalist based in South Australia. Since emerging in 2022, Dave has cultivated a lush sonic world built on reverberant guitar textures, dreamy shoegaze atmospheres, and intimate indie-pop introspection—all recorded and produced in his home studio. Inspired by the likes of Slowdive, Cocteau Twins, and modern dream pop
