Carola unites three powerhouses of Brazil’s thriving underground on her EP, Hear Yourself.
Kicking things off strong, title track ‘Hear Yourself’ finds Carola and Curol (named one of Brazil's Most Promising Artists of 2025 - One World Radio) combining their talents on an uplifting, percussion-driven house cut. Afro house and funky-house inflections collide with anthemic vocals that echo the track’s pounding energy - it’s the sound of golden-hour rooftop parties.
Switching gears and rolling straight into ‘Beautiful Time’, rising Rio artist Bruna Strait’s influence is unmistakable. Gritty low-end meets sophisticated sax lines, tied together with direct, propulsive percussion and punctuated by whispery vocal textures.
Carola signs out on a high as she keeps the energy levels hard with her solo track ‘Closer’, led by a propulsive bassline, buoyant percussive energy, and urgent rave tension. Its powerful vocal message, “In this house everybody’s equal”, captures the spirit of the EP: bold, joyful, and rooted in unity on the dancefloor.
With a career spanning over a decade, Carola has become a driving force in Brazil’s booming house scene, gracing iconic stages like Rock In Rio, Lollapalooza and a landmark appearance at Coachella earlier this summer.
