The debut single "175th St" by brand new LA shoegaze band Hellhouse announces their debut EP, which will be everywhere on Friday, March 28th, 2025 through Underflow Records – with a stellar (almost NSFW) video by Oskar Malone Pëyak

HELLHOUSE bio:
Hellhouse is a dark experimental pop shoegaze band from Los Angeles, California founded by Chris Spino (aka Coma Girls) as an outlet for heavy guitar sounds and extreme pedal experimentation. After a decade away from bands outside Coma Girls, Spino brought together collaborators for this new project. The debut Hellhouse EP written by Spino with Kai Richard debuts on March 28th, 2025.

The debut Hellhouse EP, produced by longtime Coma Girls collaborator Christian Paul Phillippi (Dies) and mastered by Joey Oaxaca, explores covert misanthropy and struggles with alcoholism. The record channels the baritone stylings of Rozz Williams and Ian Curtis while maintaining a sharp pop sensibility and expansive sonic atmosphere. Recorded live with minimal overdubs, the EP features Kai Richards and Chris Spino as songwriters, with drums by Shravan Surendran and bass by Mark Cieslikowski. With their debut EP release via Underflow Records in March 2025, Hellhouse is just getting started.
