Overture from Two (2024) by Hekit
As the name suggests, this song is meant to be a sort of 'grand opening' that sets the tone of the album (Although, in a more emotional way rather than the typical "referencing of songs" seen in traditional overtures... although some songs are indeed referenced.)
The song opens with a 2:17 introduction before abruptly cutting short, and then slowly transitioning into the second movement, containing the album's main falling 4-note motif, before a rendition of "Infinite Mondays" and "It's Very Wimdy" begins to play. After that, what I call "her motif" starts playing (previous heard in "A4 Before The Moon" from a previous album of mine, "Phases to Sleep").
The song in the last movement also has references to "Chopin - Etude Op. 25 No. 5 (Wrong Note)".
The song ends with rainfall, as it transitions into the start of the album...
