Born from the fires Venom first lit, Quorthon took that spark and forged it into something even more grand, revolutionizing not only black metal but also laying the very groundwork for pagan metal through his visionary albums.

Inspired also by the mighty Manowar, and guided by heart and vision, he gave us some of the greatest black and pagan/epic metal albums of all time.

With Hekatean, I’ve reimagined Man of Iron as a Promethean tribute, born of reverence and dedicated to the immortal legacy of Quorthon.

He was a true visionary, and Bathory remains one of the most important bands ever.

Though time moves on and understanding evolves, Bathory stands as an eternal pillar a beacon of true music, defiant against time.

Let Quorthon's flame burn on through us.
