Mostly True? by Uncle Hauk
Like all my albums, each collection of songs has a purpose and a theme. Whether the listener can easily identify it or not is a different matter. Some of these songs are true stories. Some are based on literature both well known and obscure. Others, well… I always put a little bit of my soul in everything I write, even when it’s based on someone else's idea. I just hope you enjoy them and find meaning in them.

Almost every artist bio begins with grandiose acclamation, saying that the artist is the greatest and best thing ever. Hauk doesn’t care about being lauded with accolades or fantastic descriptions- Hauk cares about creating music without limitation and with no regard for convention. Too country for metal, too heavy for country, too punk for folk, too folk for punk, and always in your face.
