Euphoria Jones represents a sonic journey towards the golden era of UK hardcore, filling our heads with catchy stabs that will stick with you for days, alongside heavy and distorted drum breaks. After some years mashing dance floors as a dubplate, we are very proud to finally announce its release in a special limited edition.

This record is brought to us by the Sevillian regent of breaks and bass, Hartta! Producer and DJ from Seville, who lived in Bristol for some years where he drank from the legendary local sounds and its soundsystem culture which shaped the current electronic music scene. Alongside Random Vestax, they manage the label-collective Dead Trax, releasing music and putting on iconic club nights featuring local artists and international bookings, some of them playing for the first time in Andalucía, such as Nikki Nair, Aloka or Interplanetary Criminal.

“Who said that the hardcore would die?” Thus yells out the sample in Midnight Eulogy, the second track of this record, which in itself is proof that this genre is more alive than ever. The evolution of 90s breaks crystalizes in this banger, containing all the classic sonic elements from the rave anthems we love, but creating a fresh piece by combining these elements with an idiosyncrasy unique in its species.

The B-side is completed by a radical and ruthless remix of the title track “Euphoria Jones”, by none other than our own Bazofia! From the Fontanal, he brings us an acidic and darker version taking us through an all-terrain 4x4 beat to a drop representing a truly electrifying slap to the face.

Euphoria Jones es un viaje sonoro hacia la época dorada del hardcore en UK, sumergiéndonos en stabs pegadizos que sonarán en tu cabeza durante días, breaks pesados y cargados de distorsión que tras años sacudiendo las pistas de baile gracias a DJs que poseían este codiciado hit, por fin ve la luz en esta edición que tanto nos enorgullece lanzar al público.

Este disco viene de la mano del auténtico regente de los breaks sevillano como es Hartta! Productor y DJ natural de Sevilla, que residió en Bristol durante cinco años, empapándose del legendario sonido local y de una cultura Soundsystem que ha marcado el devenir de la música electrónica actual. Junto con el tarifeño Random Vestax, comandan ambos el colectivo-sello Dead Trax, que además de lanzar música al mercado, revientan las noches sevillanas contando siempre con artistas locales y bookings internacionales, algunos pasando por primera vez en Andalucía como Nikki Nair, Aloka o Interplanetary Criminal.

"¿Quién dijo que el hardcore estaba muerto?" Así resuena el sample de Midnight Eulogy, el segundo tema del vinilo, el cual es en sí mismo una prueba de que este genero está mas vivo que nunca. La evolución de los breaks noventeros se cristalizan en este banger que consigue aunar todos los elemento sonoros clásicos de los himnos raveros que amamos, pero conformando un resultado fresco al unir estos elementos con una idiosincrasia única en su especie.

Completa la cara B un descarado y radical remix del hit del disco "Euphoria Jones" a cargo de nuestro Bazofia! Desde el Fontanal nos trae una versión mucho mas ácida y oscura que la original, llevándonos en un todoterreno 4x4 hasta un drop que es un autentico bofetón eléctrico en toda regla.
