Inheritance EP3 by Gavin Hardkiss
Inheritance tracks life growing up in South Africa through the '90s Hardkiss San Francisco era to Gavin Hardkiss' current multi-genre tastes. The project is a Basquiat-like collage of sounds inherited along the way. Sounds heard as a boy through the second floor bedroom window in Johannesburg. Sounds heard in dusty warehouses throughout America in the '90s. Snippets of conversation with people through the years alongside Instagram grabs.
Inheritance will be cascaded as several EPs culminating in the release of the album.
This 3rd installment includes songs for DJs who skirt genres and are looking for hybrid styles that fuse modern and classic afro influences. Whether you’re into Amapiano, Afro house or minimal tech, there’s something here for you.
