Epiphany by Han Litz Group
In 2012 the debut album of sambajazzfunk flutist Han Litz has been released on CD and in spring 2013 it has been released digitally as well. Epiphany is a fresh mix of jazz, Brazil, samba grooves, flute funk and modern dance. It showcases each of the musician’s singular sound and colours—as well as their ability to play for the greater good.
"These musical friends obviously had a great time making Litz’s dream come true while recording this album in a German farmhouse ‘in the middle of nowhere’. Soulful jazz and Brazilian samba form the basis. Litz is very happy with the results: ‘Musicianship is more than playing an instrument. It’s about being part of a strong and synergetic group of the right open-minded people. Together, our individual qualities form a whole.'

Credits
Han Litz invited his friends Thijs Cuppen on piano, Fender Rhodes and melodica, Folker Tettero on guitars, Kris Rietveld on vocals, Eric Calmes on bass and Udo Demandt on drums to start playing live and recording together.
Guests appearances that have been recorded on this album are by Orlando Miño - vocals/lyrics (track 2), Jeffrey Zuhdy - vocals/lyrics (track 9) and Claus Tofft - percussion.
