Onder/stroom by Halfgeleider
The music on this album is mainly created with a eurorack modular system. All of the recordings were multitracked and most of those were done in one take. Editing took place in a DAW and was limited to the drums only. It took me a long time to create, write, program, patch and tweak every sound and pattern in an analog system which never sounds the same the next day so recording it this way gives the tracks that special feel i was searching.
VU-US is a small DIY label which was put on hold somewhere around 2006'. My first release came out on cassette but this time i was able to get it on CDr and this way VU-US was given a second life.
