Last year we gave you a winter song, and while there's still time this is our Autumn song for you. We had an idea of expanding on the concept of our intros and outros for the past 3 singles and what a full-length song would sound like from us in a similar format. "Goblin" is our answer for that. The early feedback we received on Patreon was incredibly encouraging and as we're still learning our way through the engineering side of music, it gave us confidence to share another song.
We hope you can feel our intentions with this song. A little backstory behind its name. The term "Goblin" comes from Korean folklore and mythology, a spirit or deity possessing extraordinary powers and abilities that are used to interact with humans to either help them or trick them. Spelled "๋๊นจ๋น" and Romanized as "Dokkaebi," they're legendary creatures that can appear as humans, god-like, or ghosts. Very much opposite to what we here in the west perceive goblins to be (hello Lord of the Rings haha).
