recollection of all things lost
of reaching to the corner of desperation
of finding somebody to love
moody in the nectar of every day life
a corpse revived by memory
a struggle to receive and conceive
self-worth versus universal love
from above the frame
the intellectual destruction of everywhere
the conceited diatribe of a moment beyond a mimic's cry
and desolation

piano keys prick on the surface of a cartoon profile
poking into the mind's absence
the soul is a moment of substantive sadness
cushion in a boot crooked bricks
tickled by years of neglect
constant sorrow followed by annoyance
dead horn sections

drum beats are supposed to make you move
not sit there at the bar

to drink
and write
