In 2022 I began playing raves. As I kept doing them, the material I made became more geared to this environment: loud, fast, aggressive -- an ephemeral euphoria, to dance in the night and feel a connected energy with the audience.

I started creating many of these tracks back then.

The decision to release them now is motivated largely by current political events in the USA. Trans rights, along with the rights of so many others, are at risk right now. The USA is being taken over by fascism -- and I feel like I have a responsibility with my art to speak on issues that I care about, and show more of my own identity within my music (this is the first album cover featuring a picture of myself on it).
