Ocean Mind by Greg Davis
This is a new 2020 stereo mixdown of OCEAN MIND which was originally set up as a multi-channel, electro/acoustic sound installation at Space 538 in Portland Maine during March 2010. The installation featured 5 gongs (ranging in size from 12"-28") which were activated & sounded by small motors. The electronic component of the installation consisted of 4 loudspeakers & multiple handheld cassette players playing long loops of spectrally processed gong tones.

Greg Davis is an internationally recognized electronic musician who has been putting out records & playing shows since 2000.
Davis has released albums on labels such as Important, Kranky, Ekhein, Room40, Install, Home Normal, Digitalis, NNA, Greyfade, Carpark Records, as well on his own Autumn Records. He lives in Burlington VT & owns / operates Autumn Records shops in Winooski & Waterbury VT.
