BEHIND THE SONG
“The Garden” was written out of longing to be close to the Lord. The Garden of Eden represents life as God designed it to be: with Him in perfect harmony surrounded by all the things we could ever need. However, because of our sin and physical separation from God, this garden-type of relationship isn’t perfectly attainable for us right now on earth. Despite this, the song continues on to say the Lord still is with us in our hearts, minds, and spirits, right here, right now, on earth.

The best part is that one day we will come home to Heaven and be reunited with Christ. The Lord has placed us on earth and is right beside us, but one day we will be in Heaven and perfect harmony with Him will be restored.

This is an unfinished version of the song; a full version will be written someday.
