The song is about a person that seemed to be completely locked up in his own world and lived a life in which he could not see or enjoy the beautiful things in life anymore. I realized seeing this happening a lot around me and even caught myself being one of them sometimes. The title should speak for the fact that only you yourself can change things that effect your life. That it can be very importat to do this ones in a while; if you feel locked up like this. Don't always blame your surroundings for your own misery. Take it by the hand, embrace it and fix it.
