"8∞" comes from a place of rediscovery.
After a long creative dry spell, these tracks were the first to truly feel right—crafted during my master's studies, shaped by both academic insights and the urge to break free from those very constraints. At first, I wasn’t "sure" about them (as often happens), but over time, they became a source of comfort—a safe space when the world feels too loud or chaotic.
This EP is about pushing beyond the boundaries of what “academic” music is supposed to be, while still creating something deeply personal. It’s a blend of complex ideas and raw experimentation, but at its core, it’s just me crafting soundscapes I can lose myself in.
In addition to the EP, an exclusive NFT collection inspired by 8∞ is now available on OpenSea: opensea.io/collection/gl8tchd. These pieces extend the EP’s glitching, looping, and rediscovery themes, transforming fragments into standalone art.
