Alternately hushed, mysterious and delightfully virtuosic, Pangrams maintains a careful balance of the elements, reveling in the possibilities of freedom, while never losing its singular focus. It’s chamber music, it’s improvised, fit for deep listening and it might serve as a soundtrack to an imaginary film, but most of all it’s a meeting of kindred spirits speaking the same, entrancing language.

‘Pangrams’ documents the first meeting between Brussels based Italian pianist Giovanni Di Domenico and the Norwegian accordionist Kalle Moberg. The stylistic diversity and the wide range of emotions this duo manages to evoke on their debut LP is nothing short of spectacular.
