Holy Nights by Kozogami and Tarmac
This is dedicated to my friend Tyler Kellogg for inspiring me to think differently about playin' music and also for inspiring me try to do better than this, which shouldn't be too hard but I figured he might like it.
I um "played" or "programmed" all the stuff except the pizza kitchen and whatever was on the radio, and worked as comprehensively as possible with online voice bots.
Half the tracks were recorded December 2015 through January 2016; the rest are salvaged from before + some overdubs added in aforementioned time span. No outboard or decent mics were employed (except the real mic onstage at Cosmic Pizza, the clanky venue where Y La Bamba got so pissed at the sound guy that hey just walked offstage and played on the floor to the four people who showed up and who were massively outnumbered by the band, where a cleric and Aelfgiva et al. etc.) i.e. other than the pizza one, it's all recorded through stock device pinholes (cell phone and laptop) to sound like maximum garbage cos I am cheap? Idunno if that's the word.
