Experimental ambient electronic EP, Sistema is a homage to the future and the past.
All the tracks, with a futuristic and space sound, are however a journey through the 6 musical notes invented by Guido d'Arezzo, in the Medieval Age: UT, RE, MI, FA, SOL, LA. These were the first syllables of the verses of the hymn for St. John Baptist:
UT queant laxis
REsonare fibris
MIra gestorum
FAmuli tuorum
SOLve polluti
LAbii reatum
Sancte Iohannes
Tracks of SISTEMA are in these respective tones, they begin with a note and finish with the subsequent note, so the full project makes sense listening to the pieces one after the other.
