Ghost Nun is thrilled to release this EP from cethyd, three tracks of shimmering, noise-inflected synth drone.
Folds evokes classic synthscapes, distorted and euphoric, Blade Runner through blown out speakers. Verylate is dark and brooding, with a menacing, hypnotic, cyclical rhythm percolating throughout. Ambedo balances tension and bliss, sproinging and glistening in the light. It's an extremely satisfying collection by a talented synth wrangler.
“This music is dedicated to my wife. It was made using hand built synths from Mike Rucci and Tetsuji Masuda. All songs were recorded in a single take with no post-production. All mistakes were subconsciously intentional.” - cethyd
