Black Era by Ghost Echo

We're proud to share our new single "Black Era" with you!

"Black Era" alludes to recent times with all the lockdowns and restrictions. But people always find a way. Uncertainty leads to creativity and new opportunities. This song is a celebration of that.

This track started out quite poppy, with a driving beat and layers of thick polysynths, giving it almost a synthwave type of vibe. However, it did not take long before some metallic riffs and ripping guitar leads entered the fold, making it one of our most euphoric, hard-hitting tracks to date. Remy and I share a love for (progressive) metal, and this track makes that influence quite clear.

"Black Era" is available for streaming on all major platforms and is also featured on our full length album which will be released Spring 2021.

Ghost Echo is a synth/prog/metal project formed early March 2020, by Dutch musicians Remy de Wal and Karel Witte.
Combining their love for atmospheric synth/guitar sounds with triphop-like beats and adding vocal layers on top of that, Ghost Echo is all about setting the mood and creating cross-genre music.
