Get Physical welcome Don Turi and featured artist Owen Blakesley for a peak time track that is set to come a big anthem this year.
Turi is a France based, Italian born artist and live musician who has played in several bands. His virtuoso playing skills are paired with a widescreen take on electronic music that results in always absorbing and classy tracks.
He performed this new one live in Paris at the end of last year to great acclaim. Here the sublime studio version is a symphony of soaring electronic sounds made using gear such as a Juno 106, Roland SH101, Korg MS20, Vermona DRM and TR-909. It has coarse claps and heavenly chords that set the tone before driving techno drums join the fray. Some dark, twisted spoken word vocals add to the intensity and the whole thing is destined to make a big impact at the peak of any set.
The dub version is just as vital, but focusses on the warm and oversized kick drums and drawn out synths that encourage your mind to wander.
This is a powerful package of elegantly crafted techno.
