Lišaj, a rising star of the Czech experimental music scene, introduces his ethereal, heavy take on rap music with his debut EP, Szara. On the tape, the Les (https://tape-ty.bandcamp.com/album/marianskohorsk) member presents a selection of dazed hip hop incantations, incorporating field recordings made in the Hel peninsula (2014-2015). With creeping, slow beats, his vocal utterances and reverberating muffled verses drift smoothly under a highly dynamic sidechained mass of static, reverb, and thick, piled up mountains of sound.
