This was the first album of the new low-tone trio BassX3. Two acoustic double bassists using pizzicato, arco and all kinds of objects plus Gebhard Ullmann playing bass flute and bass clarinet. Recorded direct to two track in the beautiful living room of Chris Dahlgren's house in Brooklyn using vintage equipment this is a rare document of a one-of-a-kind trio. The CD was released on Drimala Records - a label that disappeared a while ago. I am offering some last physical copies

Gebhard Ullmann is a composer and woodwind virtuoso based in Berlin, Germany.
He released more than 70 CDs as a leader or co-leader and is considered one of Europe's finest improvising musicians, as well as a heavyweight composer of chamber and orchestra music.
Between 2002 and 2018 alone, seven of his CDs were listed in Downbeat Magazine among the best CDs of those years.
