Naia Burucoa and Lea Marie Uria met in Berlin and started talking about playing music together right at the moment where Lea Marie was trying to reconstruct the story of her Basque ancestors. She "found" them (or they "found" her, thanks to Naia’s aunt). Then Lea Marie and Naia created Gauak, an electro experimental duo singing in Basque, about identity, transness and nature.
