Expressions EP by Stefan Ringer
This release is something special. Other than the fact that every track on here is hot. Ash Lauryn's vocals make each cut just that more perfect. The floor will obviously be on fire when you rock this. The first song is "Let's Get the Rhythm". This track is just fly. A nod to hip house; both Ash and Stefan have great verses. The next is "Let's get the Dub" which is the same song with the verses removed so you can soak up how rich the beat really is. The third selection is called "How I Like It", it's a little more edgy. Darker with a dissonant warmth that constricts your body to the rhythm, while Ash's vocals sensually caress your thoughts. The final offering is named "Me". This song is energy painted in a melodic hue that instantly captures the listener in an emotional and rhythmic tug of war with the body. As you figure out what to do with yourself you can't help but notice the call to action. A well rounded dance EP to say the least.
