DOLO 4 by Dolo Percussion

Future Times is very happy to announce DOLO 4, a collection of four new Dolo Percussion beat tracks, packaged together with the three earlier Dolo Percussion EPs (previously released on LIES, Future Times, and Trilogy Tapes) to give all Deejays and rhythm addicts a huge digi Power Pack of drum work. Out May 10th!

Since the first EP in 2013, Dolo Percussion (AKA Max D, Beautiful Swimmer and Future Times label head) has aimed squarely at the DJ booth with his tracks, creating drum worlds and tools for use across the club music spectrum. Started as an outlet for the drum tracks that were being created and used for Max D live sets, the Dolo EPs touch a wide array of genres, united in club heft. Industrial sounds clank next to the roundest house 909s, swing gets locked into rigidity and loose again, live bells and claps melt and fizz all over the grid with space in between the hits for any maneuvers.

DOLO 13 starts things off hypnotic, morphing percussion and bells into a low slung electro ear worm. DOLO 14 and 16 are the first Dolo tunes at a slower pace, 14’s phased cymbal jungle sitting in the pocket nicely next to 16’s relaxed network, and 15 is a mutant, stepping combo of techno and liquid metal drums from some Grime dimension.
