Frankenstein from Maydays by Fuck Your Birthday

“‘Frankenstein’ is a song about the narrative of the same name. I also think it acts as an analogy for what a song is to a musician; sometimes a real monster, yet we have a deep-rooted desire to make one. This track is a Frankenstein’s monster, as it was pieced together with drums from our previous LP, Touchless Automatic. The video is a collage of a bunch of moments leading up to our tour.”

"Frankenstein" and "Astro-Widow" were recorded by resampling and rearranging various drum tracks recorded for the previous LP.
