Intermezzo 16 from Back by FS
16th chapter of the "Intermezzo"-series of songs (which is a series of short instrumentals loosely connected to each other, spanning almost all FS albums). This one is very dark and gloomy and very atmospheric, starting out with a very in-your-face, almost growling techno synth, which fades into an angelic choir with lovely mallets in the background. It becomes more orchestral and dramatic as it goes on. Inspired by the soundtrack of the game "Universe Sandbox", as well as The Contortionist - but also the typical orchestral composers.

FS is an amalgamation of many musical influences, since its creator is generally a huge fan of any type of music himself and can enjoy anything as long as it is melodic and harmonic and has at least some complexity to it.
