some idiot thought it would be a good idea to record a 1964 heidelberg letterpress printing press to tape based on its uncanny ability to sound like it was making a primitive form of industrial techno on long print runs.

the project was initially meant to be produced entirely through (physical) tape manipulation & effects pedals but life stuff got in the way of that so the tapes were put away and spent years in a box (with some leaking walkman batteries) and were then exhumed from their (toxic) slumber in 2020.

(Subliminally) influenced by: Nocturnal Emissions 'Spirit Flesh', Zoviet France's: 'Mohnomishe' and possibly more surprising the abrupt time changes / mosh parts from 80s fast hardcore bands Heresy (UK) and Indigesti (Italy).

it all comes from a filthy, noisy place, so if you're looking for new age yoga music or handbag techno, this aint it.
