Petroforms is the sixth full length album by Freestyle Ambient Project. The music was recorded over a considerably longer period of time than previous albums; the conception and completion dates of each track span from September 2018 to August 2020. Each piece is accompanied by a photograph.

Freestyle Ambient Project began as an attempt at creating ambient/noise music with improvisation and indeterminacy at the forefront. Since then, while maintaining the original spirit and creative methods, it has developed into something that goes beyond the implied constraints of its name. Although ambient music remains central to the project, I'm not sure that it's what I'm making anymore. Enjoy.
