Home. watered and fed, he's gone and said the wrong thing again.
you'd think by now he'd know how far to go
but then now and then
when he gets carried away and starts meaning what he says
and he's a figure in somebody's fun
you know slapstick doesn't hurt
it's just custard down your shirt
and he's no harm to anyone

and now they don't get a choice
it's the sound of his voice driving all the way.
but they don't know he cant stop
and nobody's got the time of day.
And when he gets carried away like he did the other day
and there's that word offensive well hey,
you know he doesn't need a drink
to say what other people think
but he's no harm
defenceless really.
