Alas! by IO

"For Children​: The Gates of Paradise" is the new discography produced by sound and visual artist IO. She took as inspiration the work of the same name by the English poet, painter and typographer, William Blake, published in 1793 and composed of 17 emblems full of enigma and significance about the life of man, portraying his vices, follies, virtues and strengths of the human race, along with of admonitions and judgments. Blake's engravings are a sequential representation of the human experience from childhood to death. IO resurfaces this magnificent work, having created 18 dedicated albums, in a Dark Ambient/Dark Industrial style.
