Oestergaards is the dark ambient solo project of Swedish artist Tomas Östergårds.

Mistersva is a vast and immersive dark ambient journey. A descent into time itself. From the primordial echoes of prehistory to the hadows of the present day, the album leads the listener through icy drones, weathered field recordings, and brooding atmospheric soundscapes. Each track is a fragment of a forgotten era, a spectral imprint carved into the land surrounding Lake Långrösten. A remote, glacial lake hidden deep within the forests of Hälsingland, Sweden.

This is not merely music. Mistersva is a sonic excavation. A deeply personal exploration of memory, mythology, and place. The name Mistersva comes from the land where Östergårds’ family has kept a summer cottage for generations. The surrounding landscape, sculpted by the last ice age, is rich with silence, decay,
and hidden histories. As a child, Östergårds wandered these lands, absorbing strange local tales of people who practiced forgotten magic, of tragic fates and uncanny disappearances. These memories have grown into something mythic, something both intimate and ancient.
